Brunel Trail

The Brunel Trail in Pembrokeshire is popular with cyclists as a path linking Neyland, the former western terminus of Brunel’s Great Western Railway, with Johnston and Haverfordwest.


Pembrokeshire’s Brunel Trail extends for 9 miles (14.5 km) from Neyland in the south to Haverfordwest in the north.

Let’s Pedal

Follow the cycling trail starting at Neyland Marina and see the stunning Cleddau estuary and look out for the diverse wildlife of Westfield Pill Nature Reserve. Continue along the disused Great Western Railway line to Johnston, Merlin’s Bridge and Haverfordwest.

How to get here

By Car

Neyland is located between Honeyborough and Pembroke Dock.

Haverfordwest is accesible from the east on the A40, and the south-east on the A4076.
