Coed Llandegla Forest is a privately-owned, dedicated mountain biking centre with trails suitable for families and people of all ages and abilities.
Set in the beautiful Denbighshire woodland, Coed Llandegla offers a fantastic mountain biking experience that kids will love. Big kids will love it too.
With a large car park, a well-stocked café and a bike hire shop, you will be prepared for a great outdoor adventure. All trails are waymarked and the reservoir has a picnic area for lunch.
Coed Llandegla Forest is located approximately 7 miles west of Wrexham.
There are four trails available:
Family (Green) – 3 miles (4.8 km)
A loop around the reservoir. Mostly hard-packed surfaces avoiding major climbs or technical sections. Some muddy and loose gravel areas.
Beginners’ (Blue) – 7.5 miles (12.1 km)
A gradual climb with small humps and an introduction to technical features to add a small degree of challenge.
Intermediate (Red) – 11 miles (17.7 km)
The same gradual climb as the blue route then diverging onto a descent which presents more technical features such as berms, water crossings, switchbacks, plus much more, and offering a greater challenge for fitter riders.
Black Runs (Black) – 13 miles (20.9 km)
Accessible from the Intermediate (red) route, this series of 4-mile runs provide steeper descents and the most challenging sections Coed Llandegla has to offer including drop-offs, large steps and gaps.

Toilets, cycle hire and tourist information are located in the Visitor Centre.

Coed Llandegla Forest is located on the A525, approximately 7 miles west of Wrexham.
The postcode is LL11 3AA. If using Sat Nav, this postcode does not take you directly to the Visitor Centre, but will take you to the turning to the centre on the A525.

An annual season ticket costs £60 and may be bought in the visitor centre.
Coed Llandegla is not near the National Cycle Network (NCN). On-road access only.
