Carron Valley Forest Trails

Enjoy the beauty of Scotland in this beautiful forest area which surrounds the Carron Valley reservoir. Enjoy an easy family cycle ride or  rocket through the forest by mountain bike.

The area is bustling with wildlife and ancient history. Look out for the standing stones and a reconstructed Iron Age fort, and you’ll see endangered red squirrels in the trees, and ospreys, crested grebe, goldeneye, tufted ducks, tawny owls and barn owls.

Location

Carron Valley is located south-west of Stirling and north-east of Glasgow, between Denny and Fintry.
