The Liverpool Loop Line runs from Halewood through Knotty Ash and Walton to Aintree and those feeling adventurous can extend their ride to Southport on the Cheshire Line path.

The 10-mile (16.09 km) Liverpool Loop Line is a great cycling adventure for the family. Start at Halewood Triangle Country Park and follow the former railway line to near Aintree Retail Park.

The route is remarkably straight and passes through some major areas of Liverpool. Relatively level and an easy ride, this cycling route is suitable for all ages and abilities.
